Ray’s mum, Mathilde, visits London for Ray’s birthday. It’s been a year since Ray left home and Mathilde tries to navigate the distance growing between her and her only child. Over a tense birthday dinner, Mathilde observes a new dynamic between Ray and her landlords.
The café is under threat and Ray thinks she has the solution, but Gemma and Kieran aren’t sure. The triad come out to their friends and family, sparking some surprising reactions.
